Kenneth 'Kut Up' Sessions

Personal Aesthetic Architect

Kenneth is a true believer in a person's ability to change the way they look and feel through fitness. He began his fitness journey in 2013. Kenneth woke up from a daze after he had gained a serious amount of weight resulting in him weighing 265 pounds and he almost did not recognize himself. This was not the true Kenneth because years prior to this point, he had been involved in gymnastics for years. He made a plan to achieve his goal of losing the unhealthy weight and set it in motion. 4 months later, he was able to drop about 40 pounds. He wasn't finished tho! He began feeling better because he was looking better. He dropped a few more pounds before he began building up the muscle. This was the beginning of the emergence of his Alter Ego, Kut Up. Since his emergence, Kut Up has competed in numerous bodybuilding & fitness competitions. He has read and studied various topics that have influenced his training ideology to include Economics, Nutrition, Anatomy, Psychology, Physiology, Biology and Physics. Not only is he a Personal Trainer with first hand experience of going from Fat to Fit but he is also certified in Biomechanics. It is with all of his knowledge that he has become a Personal Aesthetic Architect. Q: What is Kut Up's Training Ideology? A: Kut the fluff and get straight to the results! I don't like to do work that has no real benefit. I believe that if you want to see definition in your abs, you don't need to be doing leg lifts because your legs aren't attached to your abs. Conventional training has tricked society to believe this foolishness and more. Q: Favorite Fit Quote? A: What's the return on investment (ROI) of that exercise? Q: Favorite Advice To Give? A: You can slow down but just don't quit! Q: What are your thoughts about the "Big 3" (Bench Press, Deadlift & Squat) when it comes to bodybuilding? A: I use to subscribe to the method of thinking that prioritized these exercises because they were being touted as a necessity for a great physique. After seeing people tear muscles and seeing some of the long term effects on others, I began to ask questions and conduct my own research to find answers as to why this was so. My research led me to the understanding that these exercises compromise aspects of the physique as you're using them if your intent is bodybuilding. However, these same exercises are perfect for those who are power lifters, since they are the exact methods of testing for that specific sport.
